Re: 2024 Jr Rotax class

We can't wait to get back down to Calgary this season. Everleigh will probably miss the first few races of the year with dance (yay - more time for me to learn to bang gears), so I think it's only fair that she doesn't gain any advantage later in the season by being able to put on new tires every ra...

2021 Tony Kart Rookie Cadet Chassis - EDMONTON

Need to sell. You'll be hard pressed to find a better used cadet chassis. New in 2021, did 6 races in 2021/2022. Comes with MXJ wheels, and frame guards, bumper keepers, mychron bracket that were all installed from new. Brand new Tony Kart decals included. Never crashed. Last race was 2022 Saskatoon...

Brand New 2022 BirelART AM29 Rolling Chassis - Edmonton

Thought about putting my kid in it, then had second thoughts because I've got a trailer full of OTK karts and parts. Kart is fully assembled, less decal kit (in case you want to do custom decals - Birel decals are included) and seat (can come with a Freeline Size 3). I added frame guards. As current...

Re: 2021 Drivers List

Hmmm... interesting developments with the news that all Rok Cup competitions are going all VLR in 100cc... might change my plans for what I do with my VLR engine that's been sitting in Phoenix for the last year. First, I wasn't a big fan of running the VLR on the 6" Vega green... for that reaso...

Re: masters set up + tire pressure's questions

Last, what is ‘forward traction’? Back to basics... a tire has only so much available "grip" or traction. That traction must be used to (a) slow the kart down, (b) turn, and (c) drive the kart forward. If it is being used to do any one of those things too much, it won't be able to do the ...

Re: masters set up + tire pressure's questions

I've got nearly no experience on the Vega Green, so take this for what it's worth... this is more theoretical than anything, and based off of mistakes I've made and learned from and seen others make over the years... (1) I would generally think that 11 psi cold is a "low" pressure for a ha...

Re: Kart brand & vintage - help

No idea what it is. But it looks real old. 70's maybe? I'd even have to wonder if that's more or a rental kart, than a racing kart.

Re: Essential spare parts?

Sorry, I don't have any pictures right now either. Like John says, it doesn't need to be anything fancy... any medium sized empty plastic container should do... just something to help keep water from easily getting into the filter (you might need to drill some small holes in the container to let any...

Re: Essential spare parts?

To add to the "spare" air filter, having an air filter set up with some kind of rain shield is nice to have on hand, ready to go in case the skies suddenly open up... saves a lot of time vs. having to either "create something on the spot" or figuring out how you mounted the thing...
