Re: For Questions about the ROK 100 VLR
Thanks, Fred. I did have a little chat with Joe already. Most likely at this point, I am just budgeting for next year, but we will see what kind of a Karting season we still get.

Thanks Fred. VLR is what I'm shooting for, with outlook to join shifter in years to come. Thanks.

Re: For Questions about the ROK 100 VLR
Fred, do you foresee additional ROK engine classes coming to CKRC? First, I really like the idea of having an engine, such as these, that I would be permitted to rebuild myself. Secondly, with the ROK GP and ROK DVS both at higher horsepower than Rotax, but non-shifter, it gives growth for drivers w...

Satellite images show dirt work to the North end of the track.
Per the subject, it looks like there was some work in progress last year. What was the purpose? Drainage, or perhaps track expansion?

Re: If you race shifter/rotax, why do you also race 4-stroke?
Thanks very much, SteveO. I'm sure I will get to enjoy some Briggs actions this year in the Try A Kart/Rent A Kart stuff, and I am really looking forward to returning to the club after 13 years. I also see you are the Try-A-Kart co-ordinator. I'm sure we will speak soon ( as they release us from con...

Re: If you race shifter/rotax, why do you also race 4-stroke?
Thanks John. This is kind of what I was expecting, that the close racing is what keeps people racing the 4-stroke class.
Thanks again guys.

Re: You really can rebuild these engines yourself
YES! Now we're talking. A class where I can rebuild the engine myself is definitely where i want to end up. I thought that LO206 was going to be it, but see I can't do that one either.
Thanks,
Evan.
Edited: I found the times listed as just "VLR".
