Re: WCC Calgary-Separate Masters division?

That is correct. I believe John Kwong will once again be doling out the spaces, so watch the forums to see when he starts drawing up the parking map. I asked him to put us together, hopefully the 4 spots that I requested for you are adequate. You're welcome to take advantage of our trailer for the w...

Track closed Monday July 30 thru Wednesday August 1, 2012

Varsity Speed Park will be closed and unavailable from dusk (9:00pm) on the evening of Sunday July 29 until Thursday morning, August 2 at 9:00am. This is a WCC stipulation to ensure that local drivers don't get an unfair advantage for the upcoming WCC rounds on the following August long weekend. The...

Re: WCC Calgary-Separate Masters division?

That's too bad! I'll cross them off the list then.

Thanks,

Re: WCC Calgary-Separate Masters division?

Great to hear Peter! After talking to a number of the guys in the paddock on Sunday, we should be close to the 10 driver minimum. After talking with Joey, they should have 20 drivers for the Seniors, so we should be good either way.
I'll update the list as more people show interest/commit.

WCC Calgary-Separate Masters division?

Phil has spoken to Patrick from SRA Karting, and the Rotax Masters group will be run separate from the Seniors at the Calgary rounds of the WCC if there are 10 Masters or more, or if the Seniors have a large enough group. :D NOTE: You must have a valid 2012 ASN National Karting License since the WCC...

There's no T&T scheduled for tonight, but I'd definitely like to get out and put a few laps in.

Re: Rotax Masters own race

I absolutely loved racing in the smaller Masters group this weekend! Currently, I'm still one of the slower Rotax drivers, but its getting better every weekend. When I look back at my notes from all the races I've competed in this year, I've been hit, driven over, pushed off the track, and/or suffer...

Re: July 10-Rotax Senior Final

Excellent video John! It's great watching your feet dance on the pedals. It's really helpful for a newcomer like me, just watching where you are braking and where you are turning in. Extremely helpful!

Plus I now know who gave me the little bump on the south end of the track. :!:

Thanks,
