Point well taken. I was working on the premise that given the much smaller grid, anyone likely to go to a Masters' class would be willing to forgo the grid size in exchange for less carnage; and, by extension that it would be unlikely that the principal carnage causers would be willing to make that ...

The problem has aways been that racers want to go fast and speed costs. We have multiple classes to accommodate for age (and a necessary difference in power for any given age group). There is also a contingent of people who want to race but can't afford (or simply choose not to spend) what it costs ...

I think there are 2 kinds of people who want a masters class: those who are penalized by their weight in the regular Rotax class -and those who hope that a masters class would be comprised of more seasoned racers who are interested in a less carnage-filled race day. Of course, some might be interest...

I'm keen to give it a try -which is why I bought a motor from Princess Auto. There are some snags though -I have no 4-stroke chassis (yet) and our trailer can't accommodate a Rotax AND a clone for each of us !
