Senior open class

Senior open class

I have just moved to Alberta from Ontario. I last raced at Mosport International Karting in 2008. I competed in the Tag Masters class driving an F1K (CRG) with a Maxter 125 2 stroke. Would I be able to run this in the Senior Open class?

Yes you could run that engine package in the Senior Open class, but unfortunately you might be a class of one. The senior open class is there as a catch all class for competitors who show up with equipment that does not fit into designated CKRC classes. Some of the motors that have seen action recently in the Senior Open class have been air cooled ICA's, Yamaha KT100's and TKM 4 strokes. RotaxMax started in the open class and was adopted as an official class once it averaged 6 entries. Love it or hate it, the RotaxMax class is now the only non-gearbox 2-stroke class at CKRC.
