sHIFTER START SEQUENCE REMINDER

Start Light Procedure Notes:
THE NEW ASN DIRECTIVE ON THE GRID FORMATION IS NOW SIDE BY SIDE AND NOT STAGGERED.
The grid positions are now painted on the floor and numbered 1 - 20 ....... 1 being pole on the Left side running counter clockwise.
As before Karts are to come straight to their grid position and stop with their front Left wheel on the painted line (Odd numbered positions) and their front Right wheel on the line (Even numbered positions)
For Shifter starts... The sequence is .........
NO PRACTICE STARTS ALLOWED
As you approach your grid position the
Red Ready to race light will be on..displayed on the main LED Square display (This replaces me holding the Red flag) ... Karts take their grid slots.
Red Ready to race light goes out indicates the grid is set (engage gear)
Red countdown sequence initiate (raise rpm)
Lights out anywhere from 1 - 8 seconds .... race started
AT ANY TIME
Flashing red/amber light .. aborted start go around and reform grid for restart ... (may be accompanied by full course flashing yellows)
BE AWARE SOMEONE MAY HAVE STALLED ON THE GRID IN FRONT OF YOU
NO PRACTICE STANDING STARTS ALLOWED.
IF A KART MISSES ITS STARTING POSITION A 10 SECOND PENALTY WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE IMPOSED .... AS LONG AS IT IS SAFE TO DO SO THE START WILL BE INITIATED, OTHERWISE THE START WILL BE ABORTED AND THE OFFENDING KART WILL START FROM THE REAR OF THE REFORMED GRID AS WELL AS HAVING THE 10 SECOND PENALTY APPLIED.
