Agenda of January 22, 2012 Meeting

As all of the engine rules were decided at the AGM there isn’t a whole lot we need to decide for the 2012 Season.

Topics of Discussion:

• Weights of the light and heavy classes
• Clarification of Tech Inspection Rules (There was some confusion last season)
• Alignment with WCC or ASN rules (Which rules to keep, and which to change)

If there are any other topics that members would like to be brought up at the meeting please post them before the meeting and they will be added to the agenda.

I have been lobbying to have the minimum width of the 4-cycle senior classes increased from 50" (127cm) to 53"(134.62cm). 53" is the same width as a normal plastic rear protection bumper. Brian Campbell hopefully addressed this at the ASN rules meeting he attended a couple months ago. So even if ASN doesn't change it, perhaps we could have some discussion on it as we didn't really enforce any kind of rear width rule last year.

John,

Thank you for reminding me! I meant to post that with the agenda, and I agree that there should be some discussion on the rear width rules as there are still some discrepancies with the rules.

Mark,

The first post has the time posted as noon (12:00).

Hi Dan,

It was decided at the agm that the 206 would be the spec motor for sr. 4 stroke from now on. All other motors can still be ran in the open class, and will not count for championship points.

Clarification as far as I know:

4-cycle senior championship is for LO206 only.
Other motors(clone, Honda and other Briggs& Strattion) would be deemed to be in the "Open" catch all class and eligible for the Open Class championship. As well, the 4-cycle motors that end up in this "Open" class would most likely be on the track at the same time as 4-cycle senior.
