Hello,
I have two sets of rear wheels, one is 7” the other is 6”. I am mounting up the 11/6 vega greens, and am curious which wheel to use. I have seen people running a drifter stretch, and others not. I am led to believe a stretch eliminates sidewall flex and therefore grip?
Last, does my wheel need bead retention screws, as my 6” does not have them.
Tire / wheel stretch or no stretch

Re: Tire / wheel stretch or no stretch
I'm one of those guys, and you nailed the theory!
I haven't had the chance to do back to back comparisons, but putting the wider rim on a tire is definitely a bit more work.
For the Brigg's classes you don't need to have bead screws.
