Re: Try A Kart
Is there a "Try a Kart" day for this Saturday July 13th and are there still openings? I know one or two people who have expressed a desire to attend one of these sessions if they became available. But I don't want to get their hopes up if all the slots have been taken.

Re: Try A Kart
Hi Dan,
Great to hear Dan. As far as I know, Phil is still tied up with his house flood issues. I did some maintenance on the karts today and everything looks pretty good so far. Phil's Rotax kart needs some clutch re-building and some old style clutch parts to get it going again. I have taken the battery home with me to charge. Otherwise we have two Rotax karts, three 4-cycle karts and two cadet karts ready to go. I think a couple tires need to be changed out as the cords are starting to show.
The tasks needed to be covered are:

John ...
I am new to the CKRC, but I have been out to a number of Tuesday and Thursday evening T&Ts driving my Kart I recently picked up from Joey at Overdrive (I should be out there again this evening) and I would be willing to also volunteer this Saturday if you need extra peeps.

Re: Try A Kart
Steve,
Thanks for stepping up. I have had a good response for volunteers so far and will keep you in mind for the next one if you are willing. If you could get those people that you had that were interested in participating in the Try-a-Kart day to contact [email protected] that would be the best way.
Dan,
Saturday is going to happen. Thanks for keeping our rides going.

Re: Try A Kart
Hey John I told people to email "[email protected]" as that was what you said the other day. Now it remains to be seen if the people who said "I would like to try that" really were serious (assuming they have not already booked this Saturday to do something else). Time will tell.
