Kart purchased, not sure how to delete ad!!!

Hi Rob and Sara welcome to the club. The only difference between Jr and Sr/masters is an easily changed carb restrictor. You can consider most of the karts for sale on this forum if you're certain your child is a Jr (cadet karts are different).

Assuming you mean a Junior and not Cadet with this post, disregard if not. In addition to the slide there are additional changes to convert a Senior/Masters kart to Junior spec. They are the same frame size, but I will list the differences below.
Junior slide is gold (Masters/Sr is black)
Junior uses a max 50' rear width (Masters/Sr is 55') This requires cutting the axle in a precise manner or buying a new one to accommodate. A Sr axle at full width will not meet the spec. This usually requires cutting the sidepod bars as well, and purchasing an adjustable rear bumper if the kart does not come with one.
Junior uses 180mm rear wheels and 6' tires (Masters/Sr use 210mm and 7' rear tires)
This can all be completed to convert a Senior kart into a Junior but adds cost. Just something to keep in mind so there aren't unforeseen expenses.
