Junior 1 gearing

Post by 2eyedjack »

I'm trying to get my son's gearing right for him, I am wondering what other J1's are running that are under 1'05?

Appreciate your help

Hi Niel,

I have attached a Jr 1 handout that I gave out during the Rookie Camp this year, it has a lot of helpful info including gearing recommendations. Generally I like to gear as low as possible - once the lap times fall off then you know you have gone down too low. However with this strategy your driver has to have perfect lines in the two hair pins.

Cheers,

Thanks Frank, that's a great guide!
I'm going to plan next year better for time off around the camp.
