Are there any other options for a SFI certified youth rib vest other than the Armadillo?
Thanks!

Re: SFI Certified Rib/Chest Vests
Forgot to ask, is SFI certification mandatory for Junior 1 drivers?
Re: SFI Certified Rib/Chest Vests
Ribtech and K1 also has a SFI approve chest protector for the Jr 1 driver and their rib protectors are sold separately. I found the Armadillo one is better cause it provides protection for the ribs... along with chest and back, it also allow the child to grow into it.
I know chest protection is a must for JR 1 driver, but not sure if they need to be SFI approve.

Re: SFI Certified Rib/Chest Vests
We have the Armadillo for my son. We also got him a Leatt Fusion2 motorcross vest which I think gives more protection and has a head an neck support. He has yet to use it in his kart though which was the plan when we bought it.

That Leatt rig looks pretty cool! If you don't use it, let me know if you want to sell it. Would like to see it if you happen to have it out at the track next week/weekend
