Noise regulations for Pivot Field Motorsport Park

Post by Fred »

Guys

Just as a heads up for over the winter, when we take to the new track all karts will have to make the 87dba noise limit as agreed by the Town of Strathmore. I believe the standard ICC 125 with a good packed exhaust and fitted with a standard air induction box will pass this limit but I believe that Stock Moto will struggle without some work. A standard induction box (NO K&N filters) will have a dramatic effect on reducing noise as well as the pipe. So we don't have a major noise issue off the bat please consult with any of the Kart shops for a solution or supply of any required upgrades to get you noise legal. All other users are under the same noise regulations and the Motard guys are NOW actively seeking a remedy.
Please get onto this over the winter.
