This year I am coming back to the shifter class but am doing so in a rather unorthodox way. Over the years I have accumulated a lot of various parts along with a few specific purchases to allow me to complete this build. Follow along with the pictures that I post as I build my shifter kart from bare frame to complete, ready to race machine.
GP-10 frame
Steering wheel, clutch and shifter assembly
Radiator, Front end steering and brakes added

Forgot to place front brake lines under the bumper and the steering shaft. 3 bolts to loosen and fixed. Floorpan is only a used one I had. Still have to fabricate a new one.

Re: Shifter kart build
Really like seeing ground up builds like this, on any vehicle. Looking forward to seeing this completed (very soon by the look of it ), then seeing it for real on the track.
What engine are you using John?

Thanks. The big things are getting done. I still need to source a few things and then do the set-up.

Re: Shifter kart build
Haven't had much time lately to spend on the build but here is a photo of the floorpan installed and the brake line keepers.
