Kart storage

Hello everyone. Sad that the season is over but already looking forward to next season.

I was wondering if there are any reasons for not storing the Briggs motor in my seacan over the winter? I have drained the fuel and will drop a little two stroke oil in the spark plug hole but if there is no harm in it seeing the cold tempaeratures, I would prefer to leave it at the track.
Not a big job to take off chassis and store in my shop if need be.

Thanks in advance, Don

It shouldn't be a problem at all. As Fred stated, many engines don't get the luxury of a warm winter. Make sure to drain the carb, and you should be fine.
