Anyone want some DOT 4 Brake Fluid?
I cracked open a bottle of DOT 4 fluid on the weekend to flush the brakes in a couple karts and have a bunch left over. As the advice is to use fluid up ASAP after cracking the bottle, I thought I'd put the word out in case anyone would like some. If you'd like some just give me a shout if/when you ...

Re: Rotax Maintenance videos
Joey, Thanks for this. I hope to see more in the future. My favourite moment is at 2:20 when Jack wanders into frame, realizes you're recording, then hides back behind the shelves! :) This is the first YouTube video I have liked, and now the only channel I'm subscribed to. Let us know what else we c...

Re: GT Sport - Open Racing Nights
Troy, The T-GT is still being produced, just in short supply (like many other things) due to COVID. I just had one shipped out to me from Amazon. Also, we've recently grabbed F1 2020. A superb game, and truly authentic to F1 rules, process, etc., and a very neat career mode. Currently on sale for ~$...

Re: GT Sport - Open Racing Nights
Carson and I have been playing a tone of GT Sport lately. It is our off-season driving outlet. I’ve been slowly adding to/ upgrading the rig, going from a stand to cockpit this winter, and adding a shifter and Butttkicker. I’ve got my eye out for a TM T-GT, but none seem available in Canada now. I j...

Re: Fuel supplier
...A follow up on ethanol in the Calgary area... I was chatting with one of our PQ folks today, and he mentioned that a certain big box chain sources their gasoline directly from Edmonton, and therefore has ethanol in it, and a another non-major brand has begun adding ethanol in the Calgary area to ...

Re: Fuel supplier
Mark, What is the cyclohexane testing method? What is the tolerance/variation that the club allows, and do we have a sense as to what level of “contamination” from prior fuel would result in a failed test? While I suspect it might be a while before I and my family will be finishing in a position whe...

Re: LO206 Tips & Tricks
This is great! Thanks for posting. The one thing that seems a little off for me is the oil grade recommendation. From what I've read, Briggs's proprietary oil is a 20 weight. Also, as there is no oil pressure or a channeled sleeve between the crank and rod, I'd think there would be some risk that a ...

Re: Coming to a kart near you??
Very cool! The shifter control would have to be awfully precise for something like that. Also, I can't imagine the friction loss on a typical chain could be significant enough to justify the cost of something like that in a low-power application such as karting.

Re: Fuel supplier
Hi all, My first post on the forum aside from the Classifieds when I was looking for equipment for Carson and my first season. Wanted to say we both had a blast, and couldn't believe how kind and helpful the members were (and patient as we figured things out). We can't wait for next season, and will...
