Re: Race position board

A couple of considerations: I orginally spec'd 2 conduits under the track at the timing tower. One was to allow a big power feed cable to allow the possibility of lighting in the future; the other was for a smaller power line for the scoreboard. Those conduits never got installed so there is no powe...

Re: Feed Back for Future 2021 Race Season

I agree the endurance racing is great fun. A few ideas have been mulled in the past including making it briggs-only, going to 6-hr or even a 12-hr race format and have 3 or 4 events for a mini-championship. Sadly there has never been much interest. I'm certainly interested in discussing possibilitie...

Re: Fuel supplier

Clarification: The meter we use does not measure cyclohexane, it is supposed to use it as a reference. However, since you can't just walk into 7-11 and buy a quart of cyclohexane, we simply use a sample of fuel from the approved source, zero the meter against it and then check competitors fuel for v...

Re: 2021 Senior / Masters Roll Call

Alex and I each have a VLR motor, we just don't have suitable chassis for them yet. I'm looking to rectify that for the beginning of next season. We would run in senior class due to our (light) weight.

Re: Fuel supplier

We have a specific supplier (even a specific pump at stations where there is more than 1 tank supplying premium) so that there is consistency for testing purposes. We use a device that measures cyclohexane. If we were to open the fuel suppliers, we would have no means to test fuel. As to co-op becom...

Re: Generators

This is actually already club policy. The following is taken from the “Competitor Info” Section of the website: Paddock Electricity Electricity is not available in the paddock. Generators are recommended if you need power. Generators are to be run only when needed (e.g. to run-up a compressor). If l...

Re: Enduro 2020

Unless this was changed last year, there is no requirement to have a minimum of 2 drivers; people have run the enduro solo.

The requirement is that every kart must make at least 1 stop. If you are coming in, it makes sense to put a fresh driver in the seat, but you don't have to.
