Senior Rotax 2021

Hi everyone, I've reached out to our Senior Rotax drivers to see who is planning on racing in 2021 (as of now). We're seeing much better numbers in the class compared to a few years ago, which is fantastic. We may even see a few more with the 50% off Rotax incentive program coming up. The following ...

Re: Alfano vs. Mychron

Jack's observations are valid. The sheer quantity of Mychrons in the club means there is a lot of knowledge, support and experience with them as well as drivers that you can compare data with. That alone is pretty much enough info for the decision. We have a 120V charger that plugs directly into the...

Vertical looks nicer if we can do it.
Useful for both spectators and racers.

Re: Fuel supplier

Just a quick couple of notes. Jason, thanks for your knowledge! I did test the (91) at Co-op in Strathmore last weekend and it did not contain Ethanol. Mark, at one time I thought that the Strathmore Co-op was different from the Calgary system, but it seems to be integrated now. If you go to the Cal...

Lost MXJ wheel at Enduro !

Well this is a strange one. We somehow lost an OTK MXJ rear wheel with a Vega Green tire on it, after the Enduro. It is the same as what is pictured below. It MAY have some orange tape on it, holding some balancing weights, as seen in the picture. I can't say for certain. If you have seen this wheel...

Re: Fuel supplier

Hi David ! I sure hope you get to run your VLR with our club next year! This Covid thing has affected your racing season a lot more than ours! I don't want this thread to turn into a VLR fuel requirement thread, but this is what I understand. The USA manual does in fact show that 95 octane is the mi...

Re: New for 2021 - Trailer and Storage Questions

Hi Shaun I have been looking after the parking for the last few years at the track. I would be glad to talk to you about the various options. You can email me at [email protected].com and we can have a conversation. We do have other MX retirees in the club who would be glad to talk to you about their "co...

Re: Fuel supplier

The list from that website needs to be taken with a grain of salt. I see a contribution that I made there 5 years ago. A lot can change in 5 years as to what they supply at any given station. The list is obviously not complete either. It doesn't show our Strathmore Petro-Can 91 !

Cheers

Re: Fuel supplier

Just as a quick follow-up to conclude at least one part of the discussion, the 91 octane from our spec Petro-Can station was tested today and it did not contain any ethanol.

Re: Fuel supplier

Don I tried to dangle a carrot with Esso to see if the club could get some discount etc. If 100 racers all show up on a raceday and purchase premium fuel and maybe something from the store, then I thought they might be interested. Anyone who wants to bring a sample of gas from their favorite fuel st...
