Re: Enduro 2020

Maybe I am among the minority, but I like having the minimum weight. It was only for the driver running the last leg to make weight, so it still allows for insanely light entries, far below normal race weight, but at least gives the heavier guys (like me ) a slight chance of being competitive. There...

Re: ABSO

I would go with option 2

I would also suggest a bit more time for voting. Not sure how many would be around on the holiday Monday to notice this, when most of the communication has been done by email through motorsportreg.

Re: Quick weight change to run senior and master's?

I don't recall how much weight you need to add for masters, but the only allowable way to fasten it is with bolts. It doesn't take a bunch of time if it's only 10-15 lbs, but if it's a bunch, there can be some awkward locations. Any single weight over 5lbs needs two bolts, and will take longer. I th...

Re: Feed Back for Future 2021 Race Season

I see a lot of elderly spectators coming to watch and cheer on their favorites racers , maybe its me , but those steps leading to the grand stand are pretty aggressive in nature and I have noticed that some, not all , have some problems with them . As well , was there ever any discussion with regar...

Re: Feed Back for Future 2021 Race Season

I also support more doubles (my body will disagree, but follow along anyway). It does allow more racing in a season if someone wants to travel, and allows more flexibility from a scheduling standpoint. With single race days, it occupies more weekends, and limits the number of weekends available for ...

Re: 2020 Rotax Masters New Tire Allocation Rule

This brings up a bunch of questions for me. I do support the idea, but am unsure about timing, and enforcement. Timing- D5's are new this year, and therefore will take more time to get a read on set-up, and lifespan of the tires. Also, those with deeper pockets will actually benefit more, as there i...

Re: Circuit Name

We had this discussion in 2014, when the membership decided on "Northstar Raceway at Strathmore Motorsport Park", with the thought that the "Strathmore Motorsport Park " part would always stay there, as a reminder to the town that we are working together, and the other portion co...

Re: New For 2020 Junior 1 / Kid Kart Test & Tune

Chad, first of all, I want to say THANK YOU for taking on the kid kart program. I am sure it takes a lot of hours to keep it running smoothly. I think the changes will greatly assist in getting the next group ready to race in J1 in the future. While it is a big step from Kid Kart to the Formula Kid ...
