My only thought on this is the fact we changed tires for the 4 cycle classes for 2018, so there should be a new set for the Vega Green tires ( as well as possibly an older set from before 2016, when we weren't running Vega's at all).

Re: recycled rotax driver
Hi Craig, -Yes Rotax is still a class. It is split into Rotax Senior, and Rotax Masters, with the masters being over 32 years old. -The Senior class has been a bit light for the last couple years (4-8drivers), but is looking to see some growth this coming season, with some juniors moving up. Masters...

Re: Weight of a 4 stroke kart
I would be guessing you're going to need around 30lbs. The helmet and gear will likely add around 12 lbs or so. I probably have some extra lead right now. As Jack said, it's best to start by putting it across the scale with you and all your gear, then the calculation is easy.

Re: Is anyone interested in running a summer camp ?
There was an email sent out today to gauge interest in the school, and it has been opened up to all beginners (which I think makes a lot of sense, and should be no problem for rotation). I agree that this is one of the things that has helped our club evolve, and has produced some high level talent. ...

Re: Dialling in our kart
From someone who has watched his competition pull away from him on the exit of corners (mostly infield hairpin), I can tell you, it is likely not the gearing, but more likely them getting a better run exiting the corner. My problem has always been trying to go into the corner too fast, and get on th...

Re: Dialling in our kart
Hi Craig, I think at 10 over, he should be ok on the standard gearing, but one tooth wouldn't hurt. The track is actually more uphill than down going this direction, so if anything I would lean towards going bigger for more pull out of the inside hairpin, but not more than one tooth. The problem as ...

We have Try A Kart Saturday and Sunday, so there is a good chance someone will spot it.
