Re: 2021 Tyres - what's your vote?

Lavento would be too much tire for the VLR .. I drove it on a Briggs at the Enduro and after 10 laps it was getting uncomfortable.. way way too much grip. It would buck out of corners and quite literally I only had to brake for the second part of the infield hairpin.. I was able to get down to the v...

Re: What tires do you have left ?

So the question really needs to be, has everyone apart from 1 current VLR user now taken the 7.1 rear off the table ? That was one of the prime reasons we looked at a different affordable tire. I would suggest a way forward would be Vega green 6.0 (Vega green shifter tires excluded) Maxxis sport 7.1...

Junior VLR 100 2 STROKE

I have been talking to some parents about the VLR Junior package. Here is an explanation for others. The motor package is the same as the Senior package except for a $50 manifold change, it will be used on a full size frame either 2 stroke or 4 stroke and can be a valuable step up from LO206 Junior ...

Re: racing in multiple classes

As Phil has pointed out, we do if required wait for back to back racers to get to their next Kart. This is the only time we allow overtaking to get back to the Scale after the chequered flag. Once at the Scale you will weigh in and once cleared place your Kart in Parc Ferme (if required for tech) an...

Re: What tires do you have left ?

Just as an Update ... We will almost certainly be using Maxxis 7.1 Rear for 2021 (Joey and Jimmy are going to collaborate to supply these tires) We know through the Enduro and Testing that you will probably only need 1 set a year but there will be extra sets if required .. Closer to January we will ...
