That speed sensor looks like it is for a 40mm axle. I don't use a collar for the magnet on mine. I just put the magnet on the axle and tape it with electrical tape (about 4 or 5 times around). If you break and join carefully, you should not be able to tell where you made the modification. There should never be any binding in the joined link after completing the job.

Buy a chain breaker. It is one of the must have tools for karting. I am pretty sure Joey has one in stock.

Hi Sam, I had a look at the calender at the track today and Blake Newson is the marshall scheduled for Tuesday May 8. I am pretty sure he would not have a problem with you doing your practical part of the marshalling with him. I have now taken on May 29 and June 19 as my Track marshall days. John K
