Re: Idle Speed Screw Problem

That is the air mix screw; idle is the larger one. Have a look at this: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjt35OV3_T3AhWPHTQIHd8zDAoQFnoECAYQAw&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.briggsracing.com%2Fsites%2Fdefault%2Ffiles%2Fcarburetortuningguide_...

Re: 2022 VLR Roll Call

I will drop this class if I have to put my engine back together every race just to prove that I'm legal. Hey Mark, we don't control who they do or don't tech. Of course. But....you can't argue that they wouldn't have to disassemble motors if they were sealed. To be clear, I don't WANT to seal my mo...

Re: 2022 VLR Roll Call

The point is that you CAN'T cut it off. The seal shows that the motor has not been modified to gain an advantage. The VLR has a great advantage that anyone can work on it -however it is also a flaw in the competitive sense since those with deep wallets will have them dyno'd, blueprinted and dyno'd a...

Re: 2022 VLR Roll Call

Alex and I are in for Senior. Ambivalent about the format but adamant we keep our current weights to align with other classes in CKRC. Those wishing to travel can add ballast for those few events. Tires... they last well I don't think there is a major advantage to buying new tires all the time and s...

Re: 2022 ROK VLR

I think that the concept of MASTERS is based on age. We run them at a higher weight to allow for that fact that we gain weight as we age. I don't think we should deviate from the age requirement for Masters classes in ANY class. The weight different between CKRC and ROK is minor. I strapped on an ex...

Re: Junior VLR 100 2 STROKE

Curious to see how this plays out. I Can see this as a replacement to Jr2 Briggs. Pros: -Jr2 is the same speed as Jr 1 and Senior so this is a good stepping stone if you see VLR or Rotax in your future; more speed and roughly double the cost of Briggs and half that of Rotax. -Simple and inexpensive ...
