Re: Do young karters make better drivers?
I personally think that a Driver Training Course should be mandatory. The one huge tip i always remember from my course was to clear an intersection before entering if you were just sitting at a red light. Take a quick glance from each side to ensure no one is running their red light. You may be in ...
Re: N49
And how did I forget Steve Orton! So sorry bud. You are a part of everything that is good for this track and club.
N49
Just want to personally thank the organizers of this weekends event! I, as somewhat of a new driver, was reluctant to enter. I didn't want to be a pylon out there and cause more grief for the experienced drivers. I actually thought about volunteering instead, but I am so glad I raced. Very much need...

TAK this weekend past....................
As Keith has mentioned, we really, really appreciate all the volunteers that keep the TAK on it's rails and help make it a success every time. It is a very important part of the clubs advancement as it brings so much awareness to what a great club we have. These events are not as easy to manage as s...

Re: Preferred Hotel(s) in Strathmore?
Stayed there many times when my RV wasn't on site. Awesome hotel. Great Buffet breakfast, not coffee and bran muffins. Full hot stuff , bacon sausages, eggs of different types, fruit and yorgurt, self made pancakes. And next to the best restaurant in town. Was $104 /night plus taxes Pool for the kid...

Re: Trailer water and sewer
I have an rv on the lot as well. I often thought about looking into having a bunch of us get together as a group and have someone do just that. If there was enough of us, I'm sure it would reduce the cost significantly. I have been taking it to the rodeo grounds campsite , they charge $10 for dump f...

Re: 2023 Club Supp. Regs
I want to add my two cents in this conversation. When we started in 2018, Carter had only experienced quad and dirt bike riding as a past time. He seemed to take very quickly to running laps safely and eventually over time, knocking his lap times down. Even though we could have probably entered him ...

Re: Ideas for bridging gap between try a kart and race day
After reading your comments Jack, I can understand the reluctance by some having issues with the equipment purchases. But you earlier stated that the cost isn't usually a deciding factor whether to get into racing but if they are complaining about buying what is required, then I do see it as a cost ...

Re: VLR Class Rep - 2023
As we keep growing I can see we may need to have all our race weekends being a double header and not all classes running both of the days just to be able to fit everyone in. It's not a big difference than the odd weekend when we would only run one race day other than the fact that there will be more...
