Re: Fuel supplier
Hi David ! I sure hope you get to run your VLR with our club next year! This Covid thing has affected your racing season a lot more than ours! I don't want this thread to turn into a VLR fuel requirement thread, but this is what I understand. The USA manual does in fact show that 95 octane is the mi...

Re: New for 2021 - Trailer and Storage Questions
Hi Shaun I have been looking after the parking for the last few years at the track. I would be glad to talk to you about the various options. You can email me at parking@ckrc.com and we can have a conversation. We do have other MX retirees in the club who would be glad to talk to you about their &qu...

Re: Fuel supplier
The list from that website needs to be taken with a grain of salt. I see a contribution that I made there 5 years ago. A lot can change in 5 years as to what they supply at any given station. The list is obviously not complete either. It doesn't show our Strathmore Petro-Can 91 !

Re: Fuel supplier
Just as a quick follow-up to conclude at least one part of the discussion, the 91 octane from our spec Petro-Can station was tested today and it did not contain any ethanol.

Re: Fuel supplier
Don I tried to dangle a carrot with Esso to see if the club could get some discount etc. If 100 racers all show up on a raceday and purchase premium fuel and maybe something from the store, then I thought they might be interested. Anyone who wants to bring a sample of gas from their favorite fuel st...

Re: Fuel supplier
Hi Don I became quite interested in Ethanol and fuels in general when I bought my Ecoboost several years ago. Through some internet digging I found a simple and reliable test for Ethanol in fuel. Really all it takes is a test-tube and a few drops of water. I can do a quick test on the Peto Canada in...

Now that racing is scheduled, I've updated the list with the most recent additions (above). It should be a great season!

Re: CKRC Track Records - Feedback Wanted
Thank you to everyone for your feedback. The track records have now been posted in "Track Records" under "Competitor Info" - thanks to Dave for adding that in for us. I will get a hard copy posted on the timing board at the track soon as well. Given that the track modifications w...
