Re: What tires do you have left ?
My thoughts..... Maxxis and Le Conts are less expensive than Vegas - so since one of the objectives is affordability, I would say we focus on those 2. Sounds like there are a few reasons that Mojo should be dropped from consideration... I think we should have 3 or 4 races with open rubber, and make ...

Re: What tires do you have left ?
I'm not sure that the ROK tickets (if they continue) are dependent on the tires we run, so if not, it should not be a consideration of which tire(s) we settle on for the CKRC VLR class.
In the past 2 seasons we ran Vegas without issue....maybe Fred can clarify...

Re: What tires do you have left ?
I'm leaning towards John's position of open - at least for the first 3 or 4 races to get a feel for how the different tires perform...and if it give any clear and distinct advantage. Vegas - if the Briggs are moving to Mojos, not sure if there will be anybody running them, and will Joey even stock t...

Re: What tires do you have left ?
Dave brings up some good points. While opening up the tire options has some merit, it shouldn't be wide open. Bridgestones take about 2s off my lap time, so that would be like 5s for John ;-) If we decide to permit multiple tire options, then they need to be similar enough to not give any significan...

Re: What tires do you have left ?
Since one of the key objectives is cost effectiveness, I'm throwing a vote for Maxxis!

Re: What tires do you have left ?
I'm pretty much done for tires - so I have to buy new for next year anyway. I'm easy either way (Vegas/Maxxis)
If we do go for Maxxis, we should as a group do a bulk buy and see if we can get a better price on say 20 sets, and save on shipping...

Re: New for 2021 - Trailer and Storage Questions
HI Shaun, Great to see you jumping into karting! I remember when you were at the try a kart day with the walking cast...did you do something after that came off? Regarding storage - trailer is a great way to go if you a) want to bring stuff home to work on, and b) if you want to participate in races...

Re: Emergency details signage on pre-grid
That may be the case, but I was not aware of this, as I am sure many others would not know this.
Is there any reason this could/should not be adjacent to the signage with the rules/policies where it's highly visible/available?
