I would tend to agree with Jake here. Did we actually have a problem in the last 3 years where the racing was affected by the weights? Having the gentleman's rules is nice as a guideline and I think the majority of us are following them pretty closely. I think the key to success in our shifter class...

Sorry Garrett.... Can't do it. I weigh 180lbs and have to add 5lbs of lead to my shifter and fill the tank to the max to get to 405. I'm not chucking 20lbs on and turning rotax lap times.

I like the wild west version of this as well. I think the weights were a little unnecessary and probably didn't affect the outcome at all. As for the 100 lap minimum... I don't think I have even done 100 laps out there in the last 2 months! So that might be a little steep. I think a minimum lap time...

We may want to send out an email that minimum weights in the shifter class are being enforced at the moment. I guess in the regulations we have 405lbs for KZ and 385 for Moto. Mark and Myself were DQ'd at the last race. We have been running this class wide open all season, and some guys may get blin...
