Thanks. That was the LO 206 motor that was on the kart in the video. After about 15 laps it did a best of 56.9 with old Mojos on a dirty track.

I was booked for the "Cocktails for Critters" event which was on the same evening.

Alright, a show of hands for those that took advantage of the unbelievably cheap Princess Auto clone sale. I think Mr. Hillier was one. Any others wishing to get a thumper motor and join the illustrious list below.

1. Dan "the Man" Lazar
2. Johnny "Lightning" Kwong
3. Frank Sartor
4. Ian Boddy
5. Wilson Dolan
6. Jack Barlass

For anyone interested there will be a 4 cycle meeting at Overdrive this Saturday at 11am. More discussion on the introduction of the Briggs LO206 and how the C200 motors will fit into the mix of existing Animal motors for the 2011 season.

I was only the tester of the LO206. It has been taken back to Overdrive for the next person to sample. I am happy to be cloning it with you and whoever wants to come have the cheapest karting fun around.

I'm keen to give it a try -which is why I bought a motor from Princess Auto. There are some snags though -I have no 4-stroke chassis (yet) and our trailer can't accommodate a Rotax AND a clone for each of us !

Hmmm.....
