Back in Canada end of next week and looking forward to racing.
Reading this - were there only 5 karts running that conformed to the new Senior 4 Stroke regulation?
...and will race results be posted?

Last night was the second session with the C200 speed machine. No changes since last time but now the lap times are down to the low 59's. This is due in part mostly to getting my 4 stroke lines down and keeping my gas foot in it. I even got in some wheel to wheel action with Chris Featherstone.
I still have to advance the timing and do the air bleed screw mod(as per ASN Honda rules). I tried the ASN Honda header with the RLV silencer. Still not sure if this is faster or not, but it is the "legal" length. I am still running the sparkplug that came with the clone. It is a no-name kind of sparkplug and the engine seems to run okay with it but a proper race plug should help in some capacity. The kart ran solid as a rock with only 2 minor issues, the RLV silencer clamp kept coming loose and the spark plug cap pulled out its inards and left them on the sparkplug

A little more development and this kart might see some race action.

The DC-One C200 saw its first race action today with a grid of nine 4 cycle competitiors (7 B&S Animals, one Geniune Honda and the C200). Was able to be 4th fastest in practice. Today was pea pick for the first 12 lap heat and reverse grid for the second 12 lap heat and best points grid for the 20 lap final. After an oil change and filing of the crankshaft key to allow ignition advance, the C200 now can do low 57 sec laps. The outside shroud decided that it didn't like the vibration and backed some of the short bolts out. Small issue but still learning about this motor. Next on the mod list is to obtain a GX140 emulsion tube which according to the 4cycle.com forums will help with midrange power and maybe some clutch tuning.

Did you change the flywheel on yours? The guys from Edmonton's fell apart.

No, but I am keeping an eye on it. I think the modified clones are pulling more rpm than I am though. They are using the GX390 carb and a different cam among other things. I am basically stock.
