I dont get it ?
Is a practice membership $0 ?
(Non-Racing Membership $0)
Or are all memberships $400
for a Racing Membership, even
If you just want practice days,
and do you have to pay the
$550 Refundable Volunteer Fee,
to volunteer for only 6 to 10 hrs ?

The Refundable Volunteer Fee (RVF) can be worked off at CKRC approved work parties, Try-A-Kart (10hrs), Test & Tune Supervising (6hrs), Trade shows or other approved projects at the rate of $15/hr. Hours can be completed by you, spouse, offspring, friends or relatives. A record of the hours worked and submitted to the club manager can be accessed in your logbook on this site.

Practice memberships were eliminated due to there only being a handful of them sold each of the past years.

A Non-Racing Membership is for family of racers, volunteers, marshals and interested parties that would like to belong to CKRC but do not need or have track access driving privileges.

Non CKRC members who are kart owners that only want to practice can pay as they go with the daily rate of $40/day for practice at Test & Tune sessions.

North Star Raceway requires a great deal of maintenance which is best accomplished with many hands through the implementation of the Refundable Volunteer Fee. This gives the CKRC the funds or the volunteer manpower to complete tasks and projects for the smooth running and/or improvement of the club and facility.

Non Member drop in fee (Tuesday and Thursday Evenings ONLY) $40 / drop in per driver (MUST BE SIGNED UP ON MSR AND HAVE THE PRINTED RECEIPT ON YOU)

A dedicated Test and Tune supervisor is now on duty assigned by the Executive and Membership to ensure that unauthorised usage of the circuit does not occur.
