Race Sim - seats?

Post by pauldeadman »

Hi all,

Looking for some advice for a simulator race set up for the Xbox. Anyone have any advice on seats?

Cheers
Paul

I purchased a Playseat Revolution a number of years ago, and I've been quite happy with it.
It's basic, but functional. Cost was around $400. I wanted the Red Bull F1 one, but it was far more than twice the price.

I have the same thing as Steve, very happy with it. For consoles I can recommend Assetto Corsa, it is more of a simulator, similar to iRacing.

I have the Obutto setup but I don't run xbox (not that I think that really makes a difference).

It can hold up to 3 screens, your wheel and a shifter assembly plus a keyboard.

It also slides back and forth like a regular car seat which really helps with the kids.

I use a "Playseat Challenge". Cheap, and can fold up and put away in a closet quite easily. Does the trick
