Re: What do you guys use for cooling the engine with the radiator?
The guys that store their karts at the track use an anti-freeze coolant mix to avoid an accidental cylinder freeze. I store my karts at home in my garage and use just plain water. I start draining them between races in mid September and put a "no-water" sign on my steering wheel to remind myself.

Ckrc allows the use of antifreeze to prevent cylinder cracking when they freeze as John mentioned. If you plan to travel look at the said tracks regulations as many allow only water since antifreeze is hazardous if spilled on a track surface.

I found out the hard way last year, DO NOT RUN JUST WATER!!! If it gets ANYWHERE near freezing, it can be bad... (One toasted Rotax engine later....)
