Great topic!

Vertical would be a lot easier to follow and would look a lot nicer.

George doesn't really look at it while racing but does look during Qualifying.

Just to close off this discussion - the exec team decided to keep it on race control/timing due to constraints on time and the work required to install on the infield.

Good news is it will be reconfigured in a single vertical column.

As part of the site master plan we will look at the opportunity to relocate.

We now have the system in the workshop and have split it back into its original one line setting .. it will be a fixed to the door with a full metal support frame with an added brace for the 2-3 ft that sticks above the can. A lightning rod will also be fitted just in case. The board will also be on its own on off switch in Race Control now so we can switch it off ... before it was running constantly. It may be possible to also make it swivel so we can turn it and lock it off in a better position.
