Enyone out there have a salution to y I can't get the engine to run lots of fule fully charged battery and button pushed in jimmy and Fred rebuilt engine

The red button has to be out to get spark.

Make sure the little wire coming out of the coil is connected to ground. If you follow how the manual says to wire up the coil, you will not have ground.

And or course, make sure the wire coming out of the magnito is connected to the coil.

Pull the plug out, and put it into the plug wire, then hold against the head and run the starter, checking if you have spark. CAUTION: try to only touch the rubber plug boot while holding it to the head to avoid being a shock.


If any of the wiring does not make sense, attach some pictures, and I'll try to help diagnose.

Thanks that helped found a loose wire now it's running almost ready for tomorrow test

Fantastic. I'm out in the afternoon if you need any more help, but I'm pretty much a rookie. :)

Won't be anything to do with the rebuild .. that should be the fastest engine out there !
