If you didn't get the email from motorsportreg or didn't see the front page of the website...
Dear Members,
If you are in town for the long weekend, your club needs you. The time has come to move the CKRC equipment stored at the farm near Dewinton. We will need: trucks, trailers, flat bed trailers, tie straps and anything that can carry equipment. NO MATTER HOW SMALL, AS LONG AS IT CAN HAUL. and of course manpower, manpower and manpower. The move last fall in 2013 went smoothly and with many hands it should not take too long.
We need to move the corner marshall posts, chain link fencing and posts, the stairs and flooring of the scoring tower, the barrels, the scale shack building walls, sea cans, grandstands and the blue compressor building.
Please bring with you: work gloves, proper shoes(no sandals), a bag lunch, drinking water and large tie straps
We were just notified that the grading equipment and crew will not be available until August 5th and it was decided to use this time to move all the equipment from the farm to the new circuit. We will have a good chance of saving around $10K or more this time if members can come together and help out.
