Work Parties at North Star Raceway - APRIL
Posted: Thu Apr 09, 2015 11:07 pm
Hello Racers,
Work Party Saturday Apr.11 and Sunday Apr. 12 Starts at 9:30am each day.
We still have some work to make the track race ready for the 2015 racing season.
If you have large patio stones that you would like to get rid of, bring them to the track. These can be used to weigh down the marshal stations. If you have any old kart tires that you want to get rid of, do not throw them away, we are using them to fill landscaping dirt/mulch bags for barriers.
Work this weekend will include:
Pre-Grid and track cleaning of dirt and rock picking
marshal post maintenance and securing
Try-A-Kart maintenance
Bringing more car tires for barriers to the circuit from Calgary and Strathmore tire dealerships
Shrink wrapping of tires if not too windy
Filling barrels from stormwater pond
Digging access holes for drainage inside corners
Fence maintenance
Grass seeding
Bring for yourself:
1. drinking water
2. lunch
3. rubber boots
4. work gloves
5. cordless drill and screwdriver bits
I look forward to seeing you out there.
