Work Party Saturday May 2 and Sunday May 3
9:00am-4:30pm

Initially, there was only a Work Party scheduled for Saturday due to other Executive and the Club Manager being out of town. A Sunday Work Party has also been planned now with the help of Tony Illing.
We are getting very close and want to accomplish a variety of tasks this weekend in preparation of the North Star construction of the Pre-Grid/Scale House extension and pit laneways.

Work Party Tasks

- grandstand reconstruction
- tire wrapping and repair
- trench filling
- sea can tilting
- paint and supplies for stairs and small bleacher
- paint garbage enclosure
- put up sponsor signs that are inside ATCO building
- collect sand from around tire barriers take to West side
- clean old decals off portapotties
- asphalt crack filling
- Trench extension digging

For those volunteers coming to the facility, please park along the East or South border as there will be work commencing in the general paddock area. The weather is looking good this weekend and I hope to see you there.

Rookie School Update:

So far there are 25 drivers signed up for the Rookie School for May 16 & 17. This will be an excellent turnout and I know there are many more who have not signed up yet. If you know of any other Rookie drivers planning to race this year, please encourage them to register on MotorSportReg.com and to get their CKRC membership forms mailed in ASAP.
