Mark,

Since I know you're a stickler for details, I've got a question for you regarding Note #6.
6. Scales will be used for ALL Enduro Classes. At the end of the 3 hours the kart and driver that finishes the
race must weigh and make class weight. WEIGHT AT THE END. WEIGHT MAY NOT BE ADDED OR
REMOVED DURING THE EVENT.
If a team of 4 is entered in a Heavy class, and each of the first 3 drivers weigh 140 pounds, but the final driver weighs 220 pounds and crosses the scale just meeting the class weight minimum, does the team still count as Heavy? That doesn't sound quite right. Even based on average weight of the 4 drivers, it would still be well below the Heavy class weight.

Thanks,

You are correct.

If you can run all but the last lap 40 lbs under weight and slap someone heavy enough into the kart for the last lap and make class weight, that works.

Yes, I know it's weak; it's the best we could come up with to try and mitigate some very fast and very light racers (Deen family, I'm looking at you !) from totally dominating.

But doesn't that defeat having any Heavy or Light classes in the first place?

Why not have all drivers weigh at the end ?

Please note that there have been a couple of minor clarifications added to the rules and Rev 1 is now available for download.

Hi Racers,

Just as a reminder that at this years enduro we all need to be safe.

No fast fill or "Dump" fuel cans will be allowed just standard gas cans or VP cans that are UL safety rated. - We do not want any fuel spills or spark induced fires. Pit area fire extinguishers are manditory.

Thanks
