Looking for Kart

Post by theostubbs » Tue Oct 24, 2017 1:04 pm

Hello,

Myself and a friend are looking for a kart to get into the sport for next year. We are interested in preferably a Briggs & Stratton Senior kart. We are also considering Rotax if we can't find two compelling briggs units. If you have something in your garage, please message me. We are 5-10" and 170lbs, 6-1" 190lbs. Thanks!

Hi Brent,

Check out Overdrive Motorsports down in High River and Joey usually has plenty of options to suit any budget.

Great news. Devon and myself have acquired two CRG Road Rebels.

Thanks to Alex and Ray for the support and selling your equipment to us.

We look forward to joining the racing community next summer. There is lots to learn and we will need your help.

Brent

That's great news Brent!

What class are you two planning on running in 2018?

We will both be running Rotax. Most likely master class.

We don’t expect to be competitive in 2018 but hopefully we can make a few friends and learn what it will take to have a good showing in 2019.

Welcome to the club and the Rotax Masters class!!!!

There are a lot of great people in the club and all the classes. The Rotax Masters class has a fairly wide variety of racers, so it probably won't take long till you're up to speed. There are quite a few rookies that plan on racing in 2018, so you'll be in good company.
Take advantage of the the Test & Tune evenings; there are always Rotax drivers out there that are willing to help, or at least offer their advice.
