Nathan, I think the fantasy idea is incredible if it is allowed. Spectator interest grows a fair bit if they have something to root for in my opinion.

I also agree the fantasy style game would be very cool, curious why Juniors would be excluded though?
Another idea along these lines are the $5 per squares, you buy the name in the square. Could have information on drivers to make it more personal.
Could also pre select drivers and sell them on a card to keep people interested and cheering along.

The beer gardens were intended to be mostly for spectators and an added feature for the racers and their supporters so as to add to the whole festival atmosphere of the event. Obviously, we want to attract more than the usual family and friends to the event to make it worthwhile to have a vendor for the beer gardens. Any suggestions on where we should target advertising and what mediums to use to reach people?
The fantasy racing league and 50/50 tickets are worthwhile ideas that could be continued on their own thread.

A good way to advertise would be to work with all the sponsors of the event and have them talk about N49 on their respective social media. Using facebook, instagram, and youtube ads is an ok way to do it but can become costly very quickly. Perhaps working with club members and drivers by using a word of mouth/ social media method on top of any other methods would be good.

There happens to be a 50/50 National Champion in the club, we should probably consult with him

A free and easy way to spread the word is through the local radio station -
https://strathmorenow.com/104-5-fm-blog
Arrange an interview they are always looking for content, they will also share on their website, social media sites, the club and members can then share that information on social media.
A paid spot on 660 or the fan 960 will probably be worth it too.

We are linked to the Sports board now who will also advertise our events.
