I also wonder if the viscosity is linear or not. I put what little data we have into an excel graph, much like what you drew up.

Yes. Viscosity is linear, but on a logarithmic axis. Instead of your lines being 50,100, 150, they’d be 2,4,8,16… to get straight lines.

The different low-temp viscosity of the Amsoil and Rotax oils is pretty obvious. I used each of them within a couple days, recently, and the Rotax oil is quite viscous - somewhere near dish soap or syrup, while the Amsoil flows very freely.
From a mixing perspective, I much prefer the Amsoil, as any time I use the Rotax, much of it remains stuck to the walls of my measuring bottle.
