My thoughts here are probably moving outside the scope of what John has originally brought up.
If there is the possibility of getting a grant, and based on John's AI summary, it looks like it could be quite large. What are thoughts around removing the seacan and making a proper structure, with handicap accessibility and better storage for AMRA. Could be a win win all around. It would be more costly, but if it was grant eligible, then it might be worth it. It could be part of some sort of master plan on improving the facility.
But again that brings its own host of problems. I think whatever we did, would be worth it! I always like seeing ideas of how to improve the facility. I do like Johns idea of added supports. It wouldn't be that hard to make what would effectively be a roof cover for the seacan that is load bearing.
