Dear Members,

With the new track build comes an opportunity to do and build things better than we had them at Varsity Speed Park. This is already a pretty high standard but there is always room for improvement. If you have any ideas or sources of equipment or supplies or sponsors that could be useful to the club, please post on here so that we can all build this new facility together.

Right now I have put on the CKRC Facebook page that we are looking for a tractor for the new facility. The previous tractor was only loaned to us during the time that we had Varsity Speed Park. The track construction is progressing on schedule and work continues. However, the club is short of funds to complete all the features of a world class facility. Future grants (should we get any or part of them), casinos, and next years' racing revenues will help but these are future revenues and we are trying to build a track now.

Below is a list of items that the club does not presently have the budget to implement and an estimated cost. Some are really important; some we can get by without for this year; and some are just nice to have and will improve the facility and everyone's enjoyment of it. You decide.

What we are asking for:

Donations:

If you, your business, or employer are in a position to donate any of the listed items, services (or funds to procure them) then the club would be pleased to discuss how we can acknowledge your gift (promotions, signage, track days, etc.).

Interest-free Loans:

If you are able to front the funds to finance any of the listed items by means of an interest-free loan, the club would be happy to discuss repayment terms and promotional considerations. If you are able to help, please contact Sam Kozma at [email protected].

If you are unable to contribute in a financial way then there are still plenty of opportunities for you to contribute to the success of the facility by volunteering your time, tools, equipment, expertise, contacts, etc. The task we are trying to accomplish is unheard of for a Canadian karting club to complete on its own. The CKRC has already done it once at Varsity Speed Park and we are proving to the rest of the country that we can do it again.

Inwas woundering if we need anymore tires out there for the new track. I work at a autodealership and can just grab our old used tires. Let me know if needed.

I dropped em off beside the porta potty. Aling the fence. And i belive ill be able to donate alot of tires. I could talk to other dealerships too if needed and possibly if anyone else can take a load up that be great.
