Work Party Aug 23 & 24

Dear Members,
The track construction is progressing very quickly now and your help is more important than ever. We have the first batch of shrink wrap to start wrapping the tire bundles.
Here is our TO DO list:
TASK ONE:
- Tire retrieval on Saturday from these tire stores:
Calgary:

If you have a large trailer available to meet on Saturday morning for a pick-up at one of these locations, please let me know ASAP so I can send volunteers to meet you and assist in loading.
TASK TWO:
- emptying tires of water, tire sorting, bundling, shrink wrapping
TASK THREE:
- Fence building, fence reinforcement, post placement in NW corner
TASK FOUR:
- post hole drilling for main gate and concreting in posts for swing gates.
TASK FIVE:
The track was graded 10m wide and will need back filling with a small tractor with a front loader or with a bobcat. As well the areas for the timing seacan and where the ATCO building will be placed need to be dug out for gravel pads. If you have or know someone with suitable equipment please let me know. Markus has been invaluable so far with his bobcat but the size of this task requires more machinery. Our budget is on track but we need to watch every penny to make this all work out. Thank you for all the work by the volunteers so far.
