First two pictures are how the gates should be locked .... I repeated it just in case you are not clear on it.
The second picture is
A. The wrong way to lock the circuit gates.
B. An Insurance liability
C. A quick and simple way to have your membership revoked.
This is the 3rd time I have found a gate locked this way ..
The only possible way this can be happening is
A. A member is not capable of locking up due to pure negligence.
B. A member has no regard to the liability he is placing not only the club but also the Executive.
C. A member is leaving the circuit open and allowing a non member who does not know the combo lock number to unlock the chain to lock up properly to lock up the circuit. (This in my opinion is the most likely )
It is every members resposibility to take on the security of the circuit. If you have to leave the only person that can take over the circuit and its security is another T and T supervisor that is a full club member. If there is nobody to hand the circuit over to the circuit must be locked. Within weeks cameras will be on line and observed from remote computers ... the PVR systems are recording now .. do not get caught violating club rules and be subjected to a visit with the Executive and risk loosing your membership.
