Hi Racers,

I have attached a proposed trolly park map set up:
1. The objective is to have all the Karts stands parked in stalls that will have painted (3'W x 4'L) slots - with easy access pathways.
2. The red area will be a no loading zone - painted
3. The Green (painted) area will be the only loading zone, the first kart off the grid will roll out as far south as possible then retrieve their kart stand. Total of 54 kart stats will be accommodated this way. Additional kart stand parking , if needed on huge race weekends will be further south and west.
4. There is now room to leave the area using the south, East and West pathways

Map Scale is pretty accurate

Unattended kart stands tend to roll around on their own and I think a barrier will be needed on the North end separating the parking stalls and the West pathway to the Pre-Grid. It could be a plastic temporary type of barrier or a permanant fence type. It would only need to be 3 or 4 feet high. Alternatively, we could move some of the concrete parking curbs to that area.

Just an idea. Trying to create multiple loading spots, as this takes the most time. Using non-square geometry.

Also, before we paint the pavement, maybe we can try out a configuration using the temporary construction lane markings? It's like a tape that goes down on asphalt and can be peeled back up. Seems to work really well on the highways.

I agree with John that rolling stands could be a problem however a small strip if material, rubber half-round less than an inch high would be sufficient to stop a stand from moving.
