As we gear up for the fourth edition of the North of 49 Karting Championship in 2024, get ready for some thrilling changes that promise to elevate the entire racing experience.
What’s New:
Race Spirit: We’re bringing back the original spirit of the race with intense on-track competition and a relaxed atmosphere in the paddock.
Format and Points System: Exciting changes have been made to enhance the race format and points system, adding an extra element to Saturday afternoons activities for both spectators and drivers. Our focus remains on improving safety on the track.
Prizing Efforts: We’re continuing our commitment to prizing, ensuring eligibility for the entire grid. The “it’s not over until it’s over” motto still stands but with adjustments for a more accurate race outcome.
Community Engagement: Building on past successes, our working group is having a forward outlook to embrace the entire karting community and showcase CKRC to drivers across the country.
Save the Date:
The 2024 North of 49 Karting Championship is set for July 18th – July 21st, strategically scheduled to avoid conflicts with other races in Western Canada. With changes to on-track proceedings, we anticipate a growth in turnout for this forth running of the Championship.
