The CKRC is excited to be hosting the fifth annual North of 49 Karting Championships July 25-27, 2025 at the Strathmore Motorsports park.

2026 Race Schedule
The 2026 CKRC race schedule will be announced soon. Please continue to check back for updates.
The 2026 race schedule includes 11 races in the CKRC Championship.
The Endurance Race has been scheduled and will be held if there is enough interest, and does NOT count towards the CKRC championship.
The RMC Event has been scheduled and still requires final approval by the club membership, and does NOT count towards the CKRC championship.

Typical Race Day Schedule
- 7:00 Gates Open
- 8:00 Check-in & Safety Inspection
- 8:20 Drivers Meeting
- 8:40 Volunteers Meeting
- 9:00 Practice (5 minutes per group)
- 10:00 Qualifying or Heat 1 (6 minutes/laps per group)
- 12:00 Lunch Break **
- 12:45 Pre-Finals (10 laps) **
- 3:00 Finals (12 laps)
** Times are subject to change. Some Pre-Finals may occur before lunch break if time allows.
General Race Information
Races are held approximately every 3 weeks from May to September.
For better competition, some classes are combined to create larger racing fields.
Sprint races typically last 10-15 minutes each, with each class holding 1 practice session, 1 qualifying session and 2 races at each race day event.
Events are usually run rain or shine. In the event of rain, karts are fitted with wet race tires and drivers outfitted with durable rain gear.
